A Christmas party was held in the Yats Clinic in Magalang. Mayor and Mrs. Guiao personally sweat it out under the sun serving food to children of the poor and the homeless. Yats International through its foundation, works closely with townships in its social responsibility programs.

Another wonderful amenity added to Clearwater this quarter - horseback riding. Children of all ages can enjoy a 20-minute stroll on horseback at Clearwater Country Club starting 15th July. This is of course available to members and their guests only. The much anticipated construction of another key component of the Clearwater Country Club lifestyle is now on the way. The Lazy River is a 8-minute rider which delivers an ultimate experience of relaxation. Available strictly to members only, some will perfer to savor a glass of Champagne or red wine of their choice during the ride, and others may prefer to catch up on much needed sun tan.


In the meantime, the management apologizes for inconvenience caused by construction works and asks that members pay extra attention to prevent young children from wandering into the construction site.

Petron Ladies Beach Volleyball Grand Prix returns to Clearwater CC in Clarkfield on April 30 to May 01 only this time with more flavoring. Seeing action for the first time in the national beach volley scene are two teams from the american school - Faith Academy. The teams will be playing two man volleyball, single round robin format, splitting into 2 brackets and crossing over for the finals. The teams are composed of coeds from various universities across the country including 2 teams from University of Assumption in San Fernando, Pampanga. There will also be lady professionals from Makati and Ortigas business centers all vying for the coveted title 2004 National Beach Volley Champion. Security reasons prompted the organizers to cancel the leg in Verde Island in Batangas and move the games to Clearwater. This reinforces our statement that Clearwater CC in Clarkfield is the perfect haven for sports and leisure.

 
 
 
 

Shanghai Ambassy Club - Good News for Member

  
  The management is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Shanghai Ambassy Club. Effective immediately, members of Clearwater Country Club can gain access to this exclusive city leisure and business club located in the heart of buzzling the greatest city of China, Shanghai.

Please approach the management to obtain an introduction letter at least 7 working days before your trip to China. An introduction letter is valid for 14 days. To enjoy the amenities of the Shanghai Ambassy Club, you only need to present your membership card and the introduction letter.

As with all reciprocal arrangements, access is limited to only 14 times each year.

  Newly completed on time for our members to enjoy overnight visits to Clearwater Country Club are the Lakeside Lodge (8 rooms) and Family Inn (4 rooms),

Management is accepting bookings for Dec 1 onwards. Please firm up your reservations as early as possible to avoid any disappointments. Prices are US$100+ for Lakeside and US$80+ for Family Inn.

Good news - these rooms are all fitted with bath tubs (and shower of course). Visitors to Clark have complained bitterly that none of the rooms in other hotels in Clark offer a tub. Bubble bath works poorly in showers, as reported by disgruntled hotel guests in the past.

05-19-2003 Clearwater Putting Green

A touch of golf comes to Clearwater Country Club, but only in a small way - a Golf Putting Green. Situated between the lakeside cafe and the very popular Frolic garden, this new addition to the sports amenities of Clearwater Country Club is still rough around the edges, so to speak. Given a couple more weeks and we'll be rolling the putts into the holes.		  
 
 
 

FROLIC GARDEN

The Frolic garden has overtaken discovery cove as the new favorite for members and their guests. New amenities introduced to this idylic peninsula between the main lake and the family cove, include croquette, horseshoes and swings. And yes, finally, it has its bathroom facilities, rustic but clean and functional.

  
 
 
 

FAMILY COVE SWIM AREA

The family cove is the latest addition to a full-function swim spot. It includes a water sport area in the shallow portion and a lagoon-style swimming pond on the slightly deeper portion. A bathroom and rinsing shower facility is now fully operational, along with some shelters away from the sun.

  
 
 
 

TENT AT FROLIC

Newly opened for business in March is a frolic tent bar which serves wine suitable for outdoor drinking, sandwiches and cold beverages. Specialty of the house and the only hot item on the menu, is the frolic burger - an enticing bitesize of luscious beef.
